February at Vibin Yoga: The Month of Love

February at Vibin Yoga: The Month of Love

February invites us to practice love in its many forms. Romantic, yes, but also friendship, self-trust, community, and that quiet devotion to showing up on the mat. This month, we move with open hearts and soft strength, leading with love in every shape it takes.

Lead With Love

Yoga asks us to meet ourselves honestly. When we lead with love, we listen more closely, soften where we grip, and stay present even when things feel messy. An open heart does not mean unguarded. It means courageous, compassionate, and connected. Let this month be a reminder that love is a practice, not a performance.

February is about heart energy in motion. We can’t wait to practice with you and the people you love.

New month, fresh energy, and a few fun updates coming your way. We’ve made some small schedule shifts and added a couple of new offerings to keep things flowing and feeling good.

Give this section a quick read so you don’t miss anything new, then roll out your mat and let the rest unfold.

Schedule Shake-Up

A little calendar remix is happening at the studio. Here’s what’s new so you can plan your practice with ease:

• At this time, we are no longer offering the 4:30pm Express class
• We’ve added two evening Aerial classes Mon/Wed for extra lift and play
Thursday mornings just shifted. The 9:30am class is now an 8:00am Yin/Vin
Thursday 5:30pm is now a Slow Flow class with focus on pose Alignment

Thanks for flowing with the changes and being part of a community that evolves together. We can’t wait to see you on the mat (or in the air).

At-Home Heart Opening Yoga Practice

When you can’t make it to the studio, this short sequence helps you reconnect to your heart space. Move slowly, breathe deeply, and let sensation be your guide.

Set the tone: Light a candle or place one hand on your heart and one on your belly. Take 5 slow breaths, inhaling into the chest, exhaling through the heart.

5-Minute Heart Reset (At Home)

1. Ground + Breathe (1 minute)
Sit or stand comfortably.
One hand to heart, one to belly.
Inhale slowly through the nose, feeling the chest rise.
Exhale fully, softening the shoulders.

2. Gentle Heart Opener (1 minute)
Interlace fingers behind your back.
Inhale, lift the hands and broaden across the collarbones.
Exhale, release any tension in the neck and jaw.
Optional gentle sway.

3. Cat–Cow Flow (1 minute)
On hands and knees or seated.
Inhale, open the chest and lift the gaze.
Exhale, round the spine and draw awareness inward.
Move with your breath.

4. Supported Chest Opening (1 minute)
Lie back over a pillow, blanket, or rolled towel placed along the spine.
Arms open wide, palms up.
Let the heart feel held, not pushed.

5. Mantra + Stillness (1 minute)
Return upright or stay reclined.
Hand to heart.
Silently repeat:
“I lead with love and move with an open heart.”
